Welcome!
Wildflower Psychology is a small, Newcastle-based practice offering psychological therapy and assessment services.
I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychological support to children, families, and adults, tailoring my approach to suit each person’s unique experiences and mental health needs. Reaching out for support can feel daunting. My aim is to create a warm, welcoming environment where genuine connection and meaningful change can take root.
Therapy
We welcome adults, children, and families into a warm, inclusive space where genuine connection and meaningful growth can take place.
While referrals are welcome, they’re not required to make an appointment. You’re welcome to book privately at any time, or speak with your GP about whether you’re eligible for Medicare-rebated sessions through a Mental Health Treatment Plan or Pregnancy Support Counselling.
You can begin therapy privately and access a treatment plan at any stage—any eligible sessions that follow will be subsidised.

Assessments
We provide psychological assessments for individuals aged 6 and over. Our assessments are designed to offer a clear understanding of each person’s cognitive strengths, learning profile, and areas where support may be needed.
By identifying how your child learns best and where they may be facing challenges, we aim to guide meaningful support, both at school and at home. Each assessment includes personalised recommendations tailored to help your child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
No referral is required to access our assessment services, making it easier for families to seek the support they need without unnecessary delays.
Each assessment package includes:
A comprehensive clinical interview
Standardised assessment sessions
Detailed feedback
A comprehensive written report with tailored recommendations
Total costs: $920 (without optional school observation session)
Face-to-face
Provided in a private and cosy consulting room located in Newcastle West.
